THE SALFORD ZINE LIBRARY LAUNCH AND STOMACH PUMP EXHIBITION IS OPEN NOW! AND UNTIL WEDNESDAY 12TH MAY.
The STOMACH PUMP ARCHIVE fills all the walls and tables, there are 788 zines, several mixtapes and it truly is a sight. I urge you to go to Islington Mill sometime this week to spend some real, quality time with every single issue.
The SALFORD ZINE LIBRARY collection is also on display in a beautiful glass cabinet, another table and more wall space. The library grows bigger and more excellent by the day, it is the best thing to happen since Good Grief and is an essential part of every day life.
The MUSEUMS ONE wall celebrates the recent release, and includes not before seen originals from Jack Teagle and Ken Cole. Seeing it brought feelings of pride, elation, joy, love and success.
Also, the first fifteen copies of MUSEUMS TWO: BIGGEST FAN (completed Friday 7th May) were available for free pick up on the opening night. The release itself will be "official" later this week.
Thanks to Matt, Craig, Kate, Perry, Laetitia, Miriam, Dave, Lucy, Ken, Jack and absolutely of course Steve Higgins for making it very special.
