What's pretty cool is that next week (21st-27th) and for the WHOLE WEEK, Glasgow DIY festival is-a-happening, there will be exhibitions, workshops, bands, screenings etceteblah etceteblah. It's going to be rad! I'm taking the whole week off work to go up & run a newsroom with Julia Scott. What's also happening (and this may/may not be part of the festival but it happens at the same time) is that with the help of JULULIA we are doing another screening of BEAUTIFUL LOSERS (see post below) at the CCA. Last time I went to Glasgow I narrowly missed a screening of Miranda July shorts there, but turned up in time for free whiskey & lemonade.
