MUSEUMS 001

THE FIRST OFFICIAL MUSEUMS RELEASE; MUSEUMS 001
(following a series of unofficial bits.)
IS A PARTY, the first in an ongoing series of group zines, to kick off we've got eleven people from all over the show (well, UK & USA) drawing for a better tomorrow.

the line up; jack teagle, david bailey, lucy jones, sonja leuschen, erin gilkes, tim lahan, alex pierce, chelsea wong, mr. red, kenneth cole, jess higgins(maybs)

format; a hand constructed 12" x 12" screenprinted gatefold sleeve will house (to the right) a mammoth drawing edition inkjet printed on white sugar paper (approximado 40 pages), and (to the left) a series of supplements including Tim Lahans "mantras" a set of three screenprinted posters, a new comic by david bailey and a SWEET compilation compiled by bros & siss' COMFORTABLE ON A TIGHTROPE (more about that soon)

-'SHIELD AROUND THE K: THE STORY OF K RECORDS' SCREENING AT D.I.Y D A Y, THE DEAF INSTITUTE, 26th JUNE 2010. mad props to those who turned up on time! The film was also shown the following day in Glasgow, with cover bands & a K Records karaoke. CLASS.
-STOMACH PUMP & SALFORD ZINE LIBRARY LAUNCH & MUSEUMS EXHIBITION, ISLINGTON MILL, FRIDAY 7TH MAY 2010. the first fifteen copies of museums two: biggest fan given away on the opening night. lasted till 12th may
-MUSEUMS ONE LAUNCH, w/BEAUTIFUL LOSERS SCREENING, GOOD GRIEF DISTRO, CHARITY BAKESALE, A READING BY MATTHIAS CONNOR & BEAT UNHAPPENING DJs TROF FALLOWFIELD, MONDAY 22ND MARCH 2010. blowout! nicest evening ever. x
-BEAUTIFUL LOSERS SCREENING, CCA GLASGOW, WEDNESDAY 23RD SEPTEMBER 2009. sell out!
-STOMACH PUMP, WEST PRINCES STREET GLASGOW, FRIDAY 25TH SEPTEMBER 2009. lasted an hour, involved a break in. three people came. wipe out!
